These pages are dedicated to all those who search in their hearts for the
Fire of the Goddess, the Depths of the Goddess, and the Peace of the Goddess...

This site contains poetry, prose, and ramblings from the mind of a dark witch, which will — hopefully — provide visitors with some food for thought. Site contents focus on the Divine Feminine, magick, personal empowerment, releasing the Inner Fae, finding the fire of your own Spirit, finding comfort within shadow, and attaining union with The Source. This site is also proud to serve as host for SnazzDragon's wonderful reference on the metaphysical properties of crystals and stones. There is a lot to see here, including some hidden gems for those that poke-about enough, and this site is frequently updated.

Please bookmark the site and check back often!

Although this is a serious site, for the most part, there is a time to have fun. I can let my hair down as well as the next girl. One of the many ways that I do this is by tinkering with computer graphics. For those of you who share that enjoyment and need a break from the real world, click the blinkie below to visit my blinkie page.

My name is Luinwen, and I live in eastern Tennessee in the USA. My life is the simple, beautiful, reverent walk of witchcraft, and I entertwine Earth-based spirituality into my everyday life as much as possible. I am a solitary, dark witch following a decidedly non-Wiccan path which is a combination of Chaos Magick and Feri Tradition, with a little Buddhism, Taoism, Vamacara Tantra, and other things thrown into the mix for good measure. I do believe in Divine Masculine energies, but choose to work almost exclusively with the Divine Feminine energies that stream from The Source. I am a proud member of the Fellowship of Isis, an international organization that promotes education and devotion to the Mother Goddess. I firmly believe that it is through lack of devotion to the Divine Feminine, and Western culture's preoccupation with only the Divine Masculine, that is responsible for much of the disturbing imbalance in the world today.

Several people have seemed frustrated and puzzled that I do not have a guestbook. This will explain why, and will tell you what I do have instead of a guestbook.

As you might have noticed, I am a witch. Sadly, some people are bigoted against witches because they have been taught horrible — and incorrect — things about us by others who are bigoted against witches. Bigots usually enjoy being vocal about their beliefs, and a Guestbook leaves them a place where they can leave vulgar rants which could be viewed by any visitor to this site, young ones included. Sure, Guestbook entries can be deleted by the Webmistress/Webmaster, but they could easily be there a day or two before they're caught and removed. I do not intend to leave my site open for such public negativity, particularly since young ones could be reading it, too.

My alternative is the "FEEDBACK" button, located in the left-hand menu bar. It will allow visitors to send feedback directly to me in a private manner. Fortunately, I receive much more positive feedback than negative! Perhaps one day I will post it here. Thank you for your understanding!
