Mattie Stalvey's grandfather (Benjamin S. Stalvey, Sr) owned the land in Clinch County, Georgia where several of the Stalvey ancestors are buried. Nearby is Stalvey Bay, which is a depression in the land that sometimes becomes a swamp-like area during heavy rains. It is likely a Carolina Bay like the type that Patrick McMillan describes in this video.

The following maps show increasingly closer views for making it easier to locate the cemetery. I hope to be able to visit it someday. An attempt was made in the early 2000s, but very deep sand on the dirt roads made access impossible to anything but a large truck, perhaps with 4-wheel drive.
